This was by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! The location is perfect, close to everything the city has to offer. The marina staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. Casita was better than described, I will definitely be back again!
We were only in Boston for a quick visit- and this was the perfect location for all our adventures. Centrally located, easy to walk, bike or float where-ever we wanted to go. The room was clean and had all necessary amenities including a breakfast coupon! I can’t recommend this destination enough, and I will be going back to try a different boat ️- Thanks again we loved it
Really great views, comfortable space, and super responsive hosts. Had a wonderful time!
So wonderful from start to finish - ability to store luggage on both arrival and departure day, perfect location to view the Boston skyline, and great attention to detail.
This is such an unexpected success. It made my business trip into a fun little vacation with views by the water, walkable amenities, and tons of history. if you're up for adventure please try this!
Excellent fun small houseboat Casita; walk to North End, Bunker Hill, Science Museum, USS Constitution &c. No, that is not thunder twice a day; that is the Constitution gun salute to the colors. Be aware this is not a hotel, so there was not daily maid service, for example. But, there was nothing lacking of practical value, and ease of access & charm more than make up for any putative "big city hotel amenities" one may a priori be skeptical of missing. We will definitely do it again ... and I did start speculating about actually owing such a pied-a-mer.
My stay on Rozinante was awesome! The marina was simple to find by car, and I took a water taxi ($12) from Logan Airport (15-20 min max) to the marina. The staff at the marina could not have been more pleasant or helpful, and the boat itself, while older, was sturdy and well-located in the marina for optimal privacy. The bed was comfy and both the a/c and heaters provided just the right temperatures for relaxing or sleeping. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. I would be hard pressed to decide which I enjoyed more, having drinks on the deck or relaxing in the jacuzzi. My only admonition to prospective guests is that this boat (like others in its class) is not for really large people or people who have any ambulatory issues. The head with shower is very compact; the ceilings are low, and the entry is narrow and steep. I had NO issues but I am 5'4" and fit. I would definitely stay on board again if I'm in Boston. She was yards away from the Freedom Trail and the parts of Boston and Charlestown tourists want to see.
Staff is very courteous, they escort you right to your boat. They are very knowledge of the surrounding areas. Also was able to walk right to dinner and a nice desert place around the corner just park once and walk and walk it off. Recommend the shaley was at the end of the dock and very private great for the price but was a little Rocky because it's right in the wake zone but you'll go right to sleep😉
A million dollar view at half the price as on land, our stay at the Sea Chalet was beautiful. Be prepared that this room rocks more than most other rooms, but that is part of the fun of staying on a house boat. It's like sleeping on a water bed, except the entire room moves. We also used the grill at the marina and enjoyed a nice bbq dinner on the deck there. I recommend the experience of staying at Bed & Breakfast Afloat, for a night or two.
Me and my wife were going to Boston for a Phil Collins concert at the TD garden and it was a great experience. Because it is only at 15 minutes of walking. And it was so original, different. We stay on the rozinante, a 59 foot boat. Even a spa(jacuzzi) inside, small but for 2 is great. Restaurants are very close and a place for breakfast (5 minutes walking). Small shower and TV every where. Refrigerator and air conditioning or heating inside. I recommend that place for something different.!!!
Great way to travel for business. It was a true pleasure to wake up and make coffee aboard the boat, then enjoy the view of the marina and harbor from the boat prior to heading to the office. The boat is easy to get to, Uber’s are plentiful and it was quite comfortable. I will definitely stay there again!
Amazing stay, perfect location! We absolutely loved staying on the boat! Perfect location for our adventures and surprising spacious, even for 4 of us. Such a fun experience!
We stayed in/on the Rozinante sailboat for four nights. The location, boat, staff - everything was great. Great views, great location to walk to nearly any point of interest in Boston or Charlestown. We had a great time and highly recommend.
Enjoyed "Port!" I had always wanted to visit Boston, so my husband and I spent a week incorporating the Labor Day holiday in Massachusetts. We opted to stay at Bed & Breakfast Afloat. We rented "Port." The location is excellent for walking the city or jumping on any of the many tourist trolleys that go through the parking lot for visitors to The Constitution. We could see "Old Ironsides" from the patio of the boat. Port is not big, but it is adequate and we are not small people. The bathroom was actually surprisingly spacious for the size of the "boat." To sum it up, it was lots of fun and I would recommend it for a change from the "every day."
Gilligan and the Skipper would love this! We live very near to Boston, and had never heard of this unique "hotel". Found it by accident while looking for a different place. So glad we did! We stayed on the Rozinante for one night in August just as a birthday celebration. It is a 57 foot sailboat, with 2 bedrooms, 1 and a half bathrooms, and a comfortable living room and a nice deck. It has a great location on Constitution Wharf near to the USS Constitution. It is within fairly easy walking distance to the Italian North End, and the view from the deck is really unique. The owner was readily available to answer questions. The price was reasonable. And the boat has a hot tub next to the master bedroom. The only downside would be for anyone with limited mobility, getting up and down from below deck would be difficult.
This was an EXPERIENCE; not just accommodations! Sitting on the deck at sunset, waiting for the canon to mark the end of the day was amazing. The marina is so clean and well kept. Within walking distance to the North End and amazing Italian food. Right on Freedom Trail so visiting and learning about history was easy. The boat sleeping was comfortable and having the modern showers and laundry services at the clubhouse made our 6 day stay easy. Loved seeing waterfowl, bunnies and tons of beautiful flowers. First time staying on a boat- but will look for an opportunity to do so again. Breakfast at Sorelle was good and the other restaurants the staff recommended in the area were a hit. Highly recommend the Warren Tavern.
Delightful respite. We only stayed two nights but loved the boat. It rocked us to sleep each night. Conveniently located a couple of blocks from the hop on/off trolley station at the USS Constitution Museum so we were connected to everything along the Freedom Trail. I would recommend this to anyone.
Unique and convenient location. We had a great time here. The accommodations were exactly as described, the staff and the marina owner could not have been nicer or more helpful, and it was great to hear (and feel!) the morning and evening cannon from the U.S.S. Constitution. I’m so glad we choose to give this a try
Wonderful stay! Very restful and relaxing. Even enjoyed the rain and cannon. We were pleasantly surprised that a sailing ship was available in your site. We have spread the news.
Fabulous place to stay! We had so much fun on the yacht. This is a fabulous place to stay. I highly recommend it.
